Pros and cons of Robotek app for iPhone and iPad

Robotek app good for

... one of the best games ever for iPhone!!!! Absolutely great ;)
The game is a blast, the graphics and sound distinctive, and the overall package cant be beat for the price. I threw the developer some cash in the form of the most expensive in-app purchase (very reasonable @ 2.99), and have no regrets. The extras I got for the price gave me a nice boost and opened up a new game mode. Id like to see Game Center support in the future, achievements, as well as some different army styles. Nice work, Hexage!
I play this game frequently, it is pretty, simple and fun (with a good bit of humor in the mainframe descriptions) but it does suffer from chance clearly favoring the CPU controlled enemies. This wouldnt be a problem for most games of this sort except for the cost-to-attack and reward for victory are 2:1, so unless you are EXTREMELY lucky your main currency just to enter encounters depletes faster than you progress. Since the combat is rock paper scissors the strategy element is still governed by a CPU that favors itself. Of course, you could by currency to continue taking the chance to win, but who wants to do that when the possibility to be stomped is so high? This makes the risk of attacking and losing fun, but I have a feeling that will fade as you make your way through the game. Great initial value for a free game, but dont expect to complete it without dropping some dollars.
Best looking game out there! Might take a little while to get used to all the icons, but really, I could just watch these cute robots attack each other all day!
I highly recommend this app to anyone who likes gambling games. But u still have some control over what your roll is. Get this game. It deserves to be in the top app purchases
Good but favors the CPU, me and my friend play this all the time I think you should make another Robotek

Some bad moments

The update somehow tilted the app 90 degrees : its not a pretty sight and its unplayable.
Inventive look and game mechanics make for an interesting experience. Certainly one of the more original games out there and after some patching should deserve 5 stars. However, at the moment there are several annoying issues which make gameplay much less enjoyable, in particular with balance - for example the AI succeeds in about 80% of its hacking attempts, whereas I succeed in roughly 20%. Furthermore, the AI routinely gets more three-in-a-row than the player. I did support the devs by IAP, but am frustrated to see low-level AI be as powerful or more as me, so there is definitely something wrong with the game balance algorithms. Fix this and you have a winner on your hands. Otherwise this is a good-looking but ultimately frustrating and inferior game.
Was fun for a bit, but the computer gets all the breaks. Makes for just a frustrating game. Its not fun when the computer rolls 3 of a kind over and over.
It has potential to be a great game but the AI is tremendously uneven (despite your claims otherwise). Its impossible to get far in this game without in-app purchases. Its fine for you to want to profit, but make it a paid app instead of creating a free app that is frustrating to play without the add ons.
Was interested at first, but after re-setting the campaign a couple times, yeah, I have to agree with other users, the game is rigged. Obviously to get you to buy energy. I wouldnt recommend this game unless you enjoy losing.
This game favours the cpu therefor making you lose energy making you pay real money to restore energy like seriously? Why bother making it free???!
